TurboGears Finances
TurboGears is an open source project, managed, run, and supported by the TurboGears community at large.
However, there are a few sources of TurboGears revenue: WebFaction referrals being the most significant. The funds from these sources are managed by Compound Thinking Inc for the benefit of the TurboGears community.
This page will document the revenue received and how it has been used.
2008 Information:
Here is the information for the 2008 calendar year. There is a small balance carried over from December 2007, but otherwise January 2008 marks the beginning of this process.
Expected Revenue:
TurboGears provides a small stipend for System Administration duties including website and Trac upkeep, after which we expect that we'll receive about $325.20 USD per month in referrals from WebFaction. TurboGears also expects to receive $500 per student mentored as part of the GSoC in summer 2008. Which should net us $3000 additional revenue.
Anticipated Expenses:
Possibly funding development on some projects that will move TG forward.
